Behind the scenes-Technology

I use a fair few different types of technological devices to take any photos or videos that are used on this blog. This could be from my deer videos to any competition winners. I have two major groups, remote cameras and normal cameras.

First is the remote section. Here I currently have a web camera, (not yet in use), and two trail cameras (Ltl Acorn 5210a). Both are currently out at Buchan Country Park hopefully taking footage of wildlife.

My oldest trail cam is about a year and a half old. Before I started the Trail cam project at Buchan Park, it was at the local primary school, down the side of the garage or in some other wierd place in the garden.

Above is a short video clip that sums up all of my footage before the Buchan park project.

My web cam has been used once or twice before, the results are not that good to be honest.

My next group, the normal group. This group is made up of smaller groups, DSLR, Bridge and compact.

My DSLR is a Nikon 3200, it has a Micro lens and it is about half a year old. My bridge is a Nikon Coolpix P520, it has a fixed 42x zoom lens and is one and a half years old. A bridge camera is a cross between a DSLR and a compact. My compact, a Praktica DPix 1027, has a fixed 4x zoom lens and is just over two year old.

Overall, all of my kit can make a valued contribution to the blog.
