Frogs, recycling bins and a macro lens...

Wildlife will make its home pretty much everywhere. Under the bed, in car bonnets and even in the street lights! But one species that I didn't expect to find underneath our recycling bin is the common frog. We have a puddle-sized pond that some frogs have previously made their home, but I haven't seen an amphibian in our garden this year. We didn't get a breeding success, but finding this individual was positive.

They aren't always in ponds, and I have found them in the most peculiar places. By the garage, under the rabbit hutch and in the long grass. I will be looking out for more frogs under recycling bins...
